GOAT SUMMER SCANDALS — Heatwave Edition

All the latest goat, Canasta drama.
Reported by Brian “Scoop” Tilton—investigative goat. Has opinions. And receipts.

  • Monday: Janet called an emergency rules clarification after Dolores played a Joker with unapologetic flair. “That’s not how we did it in ‘82,” muttered Marsha. No one knows what she meant.
  • Tuesday: Henry challenged Niles to a “silent round,” but Niles narrated every move anyway. Henry’s eye twitch was visible from the soap room.
  • Wednesday: Gabriella brought snacks. Cathy said they were “a little dry,” and suddenly there were three new alliances at the table.
  • Thursday: Sam declared himself “Barn Commissioner of Canasta Integrity” and immediately got fined by Doris for excessive smirking.
  • Friday: Elvis Presley Costello Tilton wore a cape. Again. No one mentioned it because he played flawlessly. Brian suspects performance-enhancing peppermint.
  • Saturday preview: Molly has entered her “I don’t need to win, I just need you to lose” era. Stay tuned.

Why Goat Milk?

pH: Goat milk's pH is closer to your skin's pH than pure water, which can help soothe your skin.

Vitamin A: Goat milk is high in vitamin A, which can help repair damaged skin tissue and maintain healthy skin

Anti-aging: Goat milk contains antioxidants like vitamin C and vitamin E, which can help protect your skin from aging

Goat milk contains alpha hydroxyl acids, which removes dead skin cells and encourages the growth of new cells

Why lavender?

Q: Why do you use lavender in so many of your bars?

A: We do use lavender in several of our bars. Let's go through why. Lavender is said to be antifungal, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory. It's also said to aid in wound healing, and help skin retain moisture. So those are great reasons to use lavender in our soap. From a scent perspective, lavender blends really well with and compliments many other essential oils. It can add just a touch of sweetness, or take a bit of sharpness out of other oils. What you really find is that really the only one of our bars that smells like lavender is Hutch's Honey & Lavender Bar, as lavender is the only essential oil it contains. In our other bars, lavender is just one of a blend..so you're not really smelling the essential oils individually, you're smelling a new scent created by the blend. I really can't smell lavender in any of the others, but it's part of the blend that creates the scent, and the skin benefits we're going for. Hope that answers the question! Any other questions...let us know!
